Frequently Asked Questions
Essential information regarding Ukrainian wheat procurement, DSTU quality standards, bulk logistics, and trade execution.
What types of wheat can I inquire about?
United Saud Ukraine specializes in Ukrainian Winter Wheat (Triticum aestivum), which constitutes over 95% of Ukraine's national wheat harvest. Our confirmed offerings include Milling Wheat (Classes 1–3 under standard DSTU 3768:2010, featuring 12.5% protein Grade 2 as the benchmark export grade) and Feed Wheat (Classes 4–6 formulated for commercial livestock and poultry feed). Inquiries for certified sustainable or organic wheat can also be evaluated upon request.
How can I request a product specification sheet?
You can submit an inquiry via our online Request a Quote form or email our trade desk directly at sales@unitedsaudukraine.com.co.lc. Please include your desired wheat class, key target parameters (protein, test weight, moisture), and estimated volume. Our commercial team will provide current indicative specification sheets corresponding to available harvest lots.
What information should I include in a wheat inquiry?
To expedite an accurate commercial proforma quotation, please include: 1) Wheat class (Milling or Feed) and required protein percentage; 2) Estimated quantity in metric tons; 3) Discharge port or destination country; 4) Desired Incoterms (e.g. FOB Black Sea Port, CIF Destination Port, CFR, or DAP Poland border); and 5) Intended delivery schedule and preferred payment mechanics.
Can I request a quotation for bulk quantities?
Yes. We coordinate bulk ocean vessels, typically Handysize (25,000–35,000 MT) and Supramax / Ultramax (50,000–65,000 MT) shipments loading at Black Sea deep-water grain terminals. For buyers requiring staged deliveries or smaller parcel volumes, containerized liner shipments (20ft containers with bulk liners) and overland rail hoppers can also be quoted.
How are final product specifications confirmed?
Source-listed parameters are indicative benchmarks. Prior to loading, composite samples are drawn from selected elevator lots and tested in accredited laboratories. During vessel loading or rail dispatch, independent accredited surveying agencies (such as SGS, Bureau Veritas, or Cotecna) conduct joint sampling under GAFTA rules to issue official certificates of weight, quality, and condition, which form part of the final commercial documentation.
What documentation may be required for an international shipment?
Standard export documentation sets coordinated for overseas shipments include: Commercial Invoice, Packing List / Weight Certificate, Clean on Board Marine Ocean Bill of Lading (or CIM/SMGS Railway Consignment Note for rail), Certificate of Origin (issued by the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce or EUR.1), Phytosanitary Certificate issued by the Ukrainian State Service on Food Safety and Consumer Protection, and Independent Quality Certificate (SGS or equivalent). Additional consular or fumigation certificates are coordinated where required by destination customs.
How can I discuss shipping and delivery terms?
You can initiate commercial discussions by submitting your requirements through our Request a Quote form or emailing sales@unitedsaudukraine.com.co.lc. Our sales representatives will review logistics feasibility, vessel laycan windows, and export corridor options to structure an appropriate commercial offer.
What payment instruments are accepted?
In line with international agricultural commodity trade conventions, transactions are typically structured through Documentary Letters of Credit (Irrevocable, Confirmed LC at sight issued by first-class international banks) or agreed Cash Against Documents (CAD) and Telegraphic Transfer (TT) structures outlined in the formal sale contract.
What is United Saud Ukraine's relationship to United Saud Group?
